The third instalment of the theatre project about the people and stories of a particular valley

The adventurous theatrical journey begins at 6 p.m. in the park of the Teatro Dimitri in Verscio. Ticket office and bar service are open from 16.45. The audience, the actors and actresses, and the Bandella musicians meet for the first time in the park. The train journey starts at the Verscio station, passing through the Intragna station before arriving in Camedo. From there it is only a few minutes’ walk to Kaiopoli – a marvellous theatre in the middle of nature – for the last scene of our show and dance, good wine, polenta and gorgonzola and the traditional bread cake. Afterwards, around 10 p.m., the little train takes spectators back to Verscio and on to Locarno.

Spectators with difficult access

With advance notice, it is also possible to participate with a wheelchair.  

Unfolding and conditions

The performance will take place in all weather conditions. If for safety reasons the performance should nevertheless be suspended, after 45 minutes it will be considered to have taken place and no refund will be due.  

Parking spaces

Parking in Verscio is limited, so we recommend arriving by train. At the end of the show, the train will stop in Verscio and Locarno, and at other stations on request.
