An unforgettable journey into autumn!

The trains that connect Locarno to Domodossola, in the upper Piedmont region, are chosen by thousands of passengers every year, between October and November: admiring the landscapes inflamed by the hues of autumn is an experience not to be missed, especially on board the railway that Lonely Planet has crowned one of the ten most beautiful in the world. The route of the Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway, a historic line that has connected Italy and Switzerland since 1923, will once again become a multicoloured painting, with spectacular views and panoramic glimpses inflamed by autumn colours. During the journey it is possible to make an intermediate stop, to explore one of the picturesque locations along the way, and discover the cultural and natural beauty of the area.
