Piazza Grande

Time never stands still on Piazza Grande and it is a great place to take a break and linger awhile.

At breakfast time, you can experience the square slowly coming to life. In the evening, as night falls, you will see how the lights all around the Piazza gradually create its enchanting atmosphere.

Under the arcades that line the square you will discover all manner of shops, restaurants, bistros and patisseries.

Piazza Grande also hosts a number of events that are organised by the city all year round: from the traditional weekly market to the Moon & Stars concerts, as well as city fairs and the famous international film festival.
