Stinchett, Runditt and Amiasc

The name and type of flour might change (wheat or buckwheat) but what is common to all varieties is the pure taste sensation! In Malesco the street food speciality from the Vigezzo Valley is called “stinchett” or “runditt” and Coimo it is “amiasc”.

The thin flatbreads made from water and flour are baked on a hot stone and seasoned with alpine butter and salt. It is a true pleasure you should enjoy as a treat when wandering around the village.

You will find it at any of the festivals in the valley, and you can also consume and buy it all year round in the typical restaurants and bakeries.
