Casa del Profumo Feminis-Farina

The Casa del Profumo, inaugurated in 2018, is a small charming museum, where you can retrace the history of eau de cologne, which was invented by Giovanni Paolo Feminis, a resident of the Vigezzo Valley who emigrated from Crana to Cologne. Thanks to the business sense of Giovanni Maria Farina, who surmised the potential of the product, the so-called Aqua Mirabilis quickly became known throughout Europe under the name eau de cologne.

The museum offers a multimedia tour of scents, aromas, herbs, essences and installations. This is where perfume and history meet.
