The mill at Sasseglio

Small but magnificent: the mill is located at the start of a 45-minute hike from Sasseglio to Coimo.

Coimo is famous for its Black Bread, made from rye flour. It is said that in the past it was only made twice a year and it was Jesus's gift to children at Christmas. Today, in addition to the traditional black bread, the village also makes Crescenzin, a round loaf with walnuts, figs and raisins.
