The LAGO MAGGIORE EXPRESS tour is back: a unique day trip combining a panoramic train journey and a boat trip on Lake Maggiore, creating a circular route between Italy and Switzerland. It is designed for those who want to experience spectacular landscapes, lakeside villages, Alpine valleys and romantic views all in a single day.

HOW TO BOOK:

departing from Domodossola

tickets are available at:

• the Vigezzina Centovalli railway ticket office in Domodossola and Santa Maria Maggiore
• on board the train departing from Domodossola
• at participating travel agencies (for info 0324 242055)

PLEASE NOTE!

The ticket does not include a reserved seat on the train; we therefore recommend that, once you have purchased your physical ticket, you book your seat via the following LINK

departing from the Lake

• the Lake Maggiore boat ticket office (FIND OUT WHICH TICKET OFFICES)

THE TICKET INCLUDES:

• a train journey from Domodossola to Locarno on the Ferrovia Vigezzina Centovalli
• a boat journey from Locarno to Stresa/Arona with Navigazione Lago Maggiore or vice versa.

  The Trenitalia/Trenord rail section is not included and must be purchased separately.

• trains departing from Locarno (14.51, 15.51, 16.51, 17.50) CHECK THE TIMETABLE HERE The Trenitalia/Trenord rail section is not included and must be booked separately.
