A journey through time in a breathtaking landscape!

Travelling on board the historic train, one is catapulted into an atmosphere of times gone by. The train runs between Locarno and Camedo at a maximum speed of 40 km per hour, offering passengers a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Journeys aboard the historic train are able to fascinate everyone: from children who watch the panorama from the window (which can be opened!) with enthusiasm and radiant smiles, to the elderly in whose eyes the memories of childhood and youth are seen again, to young couples looking for an unusual and exciting romantic outing. Once in Camedo, each outing is able to offer new emotions thanks to the themed experiences proposed inside the old train depot. A unique travel experience born from the collaboration between our railway and SEFT (Società Esercizio Ferroviario Turistico) The historic train consists of the ABDe 6/6 electric train from 1963 and a B123 carriage from 1963.
