On Sunday, 22 November, a slow journey through the Centovalli will bring together landscapes, history and fragrances in a unique experience.
The Perfume Train transforms the journey between Locarno and Santa Maria Maggiore into a travelling sensory experience. Along the route, a specialised guide will introduce participants to the world of fragrances through an engaging olfactory workshop on board the train.
Thanks to aromatic herbs, essences, dedicated materials and interactive moments, each participant will create a personal sensory journey and take home a unique memory of the experience.
Upon arrival in Santa Maria Maggiore, the experience continues with a guided visit to the renowned Casa del Profumo Feminis-Farina, a landmark dedicated to the history of Eau de Cologne and the perfume-making tradition of the Vigezzo Valley.
