The answer for you is the cable car that leads from Verdasio to Rasa, leaving behind the frenetic pace, traffic and modernity. A journey of a few minutes will allow you to go back in time and find authentic places and enchanted landscapes. The starting station of the Cable Car Verdasio – Rasa is adjacent to the railway station of Verdasio. Information

• Timetable: 7.00 – 13.20 / 14.20 – 19.00 (departures every 20 minutes)
• The cable car operates only when the driver is present.
• Every first working Tuesday of the month, the plant shall be closed for inspection.
• The cable car may not be in service all year round, depending on the progress of the renovation work or for urgent maintenance work. Please contact +41 91 798 12 63.

Combined ticket (train + cable car) The ticket includes a return journey from Locarno to Verdasio and a return journey with the Verdasio-Rasa cable car. The ticket is only valid for departure from Locarno. The ticket can be purchased online or at La Biglietteria of Locarno, which can also be reached by phone at +41 91 751 87 31 or by email at labiglietteria@centovalli.ch The half-price rate cannot be purchased online.
