Druogno

Druogno is located on the edge of the plateau of Santa Maria Maggiore. The extensive municipality has inhabited hamlets, mills, small chapels and paintings. At the entrance to the village is a bronze statue of an alpine shepherdess carrying a pannier on her shoulder accompanied by a goat, which pays homage to rural life. In the church of San Silvestro, alongside the wall paintings by local artists, you can admire a picture by Gustavo Maes, which was purchased by a few emigrants in Antwerp. The mountain municipality is also home to the Museo UniversiCà.
