Mushrooms, wine and chestnuts. In Trontano, known for its mushroom festival which is held every year, food and wine figure as the most appealing incidentals imaginable. Trontano is located in the vineyards at the entry point to the Vigezzo Valley. The small village looks out onto the plains of Domodossola and is surrounded by hamlets where you can discover little masterpieces of architecture. The buildings are constructed in Beola and Serizzo, the typical natural stone varieties of the region, and they merge harmoniously into their surroundings.
