Children under 6 years of age travel free of charge and pay only the booking fee if they occupy a seat. Children aged between 6 and 16 and under travel with a 50% reduction on the ticket price. Reservation fee and panorama supplement are charged in full. Dogs and small animals (up to 30 cm at withers) travel free of charge. Larger dogs travel with a 50% reduction on the ticket price. A muzzle is compulsory in Italy. A pet carrier is sufficient for small dogs. AG/FVP, Day Passes and Swiss Travel Passes allow free travel, seat reservation fees and any panorama surcharges are payable. Half-price/FVP: are not recognised in conjunction with the International Tourist Ticket. Junior Card and Accompanied Children’s Card: these are not recognised in conjunction with the international tourist ticket, but are valid if the accompanying person is travelling with AG/FVP, Day Card and Swiss Travel Pass. Ticino Ticket allows free travel on the Locarno – Camedo route and offers a 20% discount on Camedo – Domodossola tickets (purchase at the FART Ticket Office in Locarno).
