Centovalli and Pedemonte regional museum

The Centovalli and Pedemonte regional museum gives an interesting presentation of the history, culture and art of this region. The museum building oozes its sense of history and tradition.

The ethnographic collection at the museum includes crafts, tools, everyday items, clothes and furniture from farming families of the region who have lived in the Centovalli and Pedemonte over the centuries.

The museum owns and manages a large collection of historical documents as well as texts and recordings of interviews and stories. There is also a section dedicated to the famous Spazzacamini or chimney sweeps. All this gives an insight into the collective past of the Centovalli and Vigezzo Valley.
