Where to buy?
Online
You can buy your tickets and abos in our online shop. Tickets may be purchased with or without seat reservations (these can be made at a cost of EUR 4 per journey). If you hold a valid ticket you may add a seat reservation.

Ticket offices in Italy
Tickets can be purchased at the Domodossola ticket office, which is open every day, or at the Santa Maria Maggiore station. If the latter are closed, tickets can be purchased on board the train.

In Switzerland
Tickets may be purchased at the FART ticket counter at Piazza Stazione in Locarno and at ticket machines in the stations.
On the touchscreen, simply select the appropriate header: TURISTICO VALLE VIGEZZO (for Re, Santa Maria Maggiore and Druogno) or TURISTICO DOMODOSSOLA, and the option required (adults or children).

Special subsidies and arrangements
Children under 6 years of age travel free of charge and pay only the booking fee if they occupy a seat.
Children aged between 6 and 16 and under travel with a 50% reduction on the ticket price. Reservation fee and panorama supplement are charged in full.
Dogs and small animals (up to 30 cm at withers) travel free of charge. Larger dogs travel with a 50% reduction on the ticket price.
A muzzle is compulsory in Italy. A pet carrier is sufficient for small dogs.
AG/FVP, Day Passes and Swiss Travel Passes allow free travel, seat reservation fees and any panorama surcharges are payable.
Half-price/FVP: are not recognised in conjunction with the International Tourist Ticket.
Junior Card and Accompanied Children's Card: these are not recognised in conjunction with the international tourist ticket, but are valid if the accompanying person is travelling with AG/FVP, Day Card and Swiss Travel Pass.
Ticino Ticket allows free travel on the Locarno - Camedo route and offers a 20% discount on Camedo - Domodossola tickets (purchase at the FART Ticket Office in Locarno).
