The steel bridge

To cross the torrent at Isorno near Intragna, the Centovalli Railway runs across a majestic steel bridge. This is one of the most photographed parts of our railway. The netted arch structure of the viaduct measures 87 metres and dominates the valley at a height of 77 metres above the surface of the water.
