The castle ruins

The archaeological site of the castle, one of the most important in the Locarno region, is located on a hill where you can enjoy a splendid view.

The remains of the fortification of Tegna are situated in a 41,000 m2 park deep in the countryside.

Between 2016 and 2018, this site was part of a comprehensive operation to safeguard the archaeological ruins. It is now possible to tour the entire area and discover the history of the region in this natural haven.
