Craveggia

Thanks to the many elegant residences which bear testimony to a successful history of emigration, Craveggia is one of the architectural gems of the Vigezzo Valley. The town is well-known for its picturesque stone roofs and high chimneys in particular, which are easily seen from the higher part of the village.

On the piazza, you can admire three places of worship from the 18th century: the parish church that is dedicated to St. Jacob and St. Christopher, the Oratorium Santa Marta and a baptistery.

A crossroads leads to the Oratorium del Piaggio which rises up on a rock spur. The Oratorium of St. Antony of Padua is located on the upper village road.
