Along the gorges of Ponte Brolla, where the turbulent Maggia flows and some of the most attractive river beaches in the region are to be found, you continue towards Tegna and then go uphill to the ruins of an old fortress. Once at the top, you are rewarded with an enchanting panorama, which extends from the Maggia Valley, across the Centovalli to the Gulf of Locarno. O
n the road that leads back to the valley, there is a small, picturesque chapel that is dedicated to St. Anne.
In Tegna, you can board the train or walk back to Ponte Brolla along the river.
