From the hamlet of Prestinone di Craveggia, the modern 8-seater cable car takes just ten minutes to reach the Piana di Vigezzo ski resort, located at an altitude of 1726 metres.
Truly breathtaking views open up at high altitude, with your gaze ranging from the peaks of the Val Grande to the unmistakable profile of Monte Rosa.

At Piana di Vigezzo there are more than 20 km of downhill slopes for everyone: there are eight low and medium difficulty runs, while for the more expert there are two black runs. National homologation for the "Trubbio" and "Fraschella" slopes, which host giant slalom and special slalom competitions.

At Piana di Vigezzo, one can spend a pleasant day even without skis on one's feet: non-demanding panoramic snowshoeing with marvellous views of the valley below, bobsleigh and toboggan runs for the little ones and guaranteed sunshine thanks to the particular exposure of the snow-covered slopes.

Piana di Vigezzo applies a discount of € 3 on the one-way return ticket and € 4 on the daily ticket upon presentation of the following Vigezzina-Centovalli railway tickets

• Locarno-Valle Vigezzo round trip tourist ticket or Valle Vigezzo - Locarno round trip tourist ticket
• Vigezzina no limits ticket from Domodossola to Re and back
• Vigezzina no limits ticket from Orcesco to Re and vice versa
• Domodossola - Malesco return ticket

This discount can be used by the customer throughout the season without any time limit!

Holders of a one-way return ticket, i.e. a one-day ticket, for the Piana di Vigezzo ski lifts enjoy, at the Ferrovia Vigezzina - Centovalli, (limited to the following tickets), of

• Discount of € 3.00 if in possession of a Locarno-Valle Vigezzo A/R tourist ticket and vice versa
• Discount of € 2.00 if in possession of a Vigezzina no limits ticket (valid for 1 day) from Domodossola to Re and vice versa
• Discount of € 3.00 if in possession of a Vigezzina no limits ticket (valid 2 days) from Domodossola to Re and vice versa
• Discount of € 1.00 (validity 1 day) if in possession of a Vigezzina no limits ticket from Orcesco to Re.
• Discount of € 2.00 (valid for 2 days) if in possession of a Vigezzina no limits ticket from Orcesco to Re.

These discounts can be used within seven days of issue of the Piana di Vigezzo ski lift ticket.

Vigezzo Valley Bike and Downhill Routes
The Vigezzo Valley is a paradise for cyclists. Routes and trails for downhill and mountain biking, organised and signposted, served by facilities, rentals and specialised personnel.

Guided e-bike tours and marked trail bikes
The best season for mountain biking is undoubtedly summer, and if you are in the mountains, surrounded by lush pine and beech forests, even better! Here the Piana di Vigezzo, the beating heart of the Painters' Valley, is an incredible destination for all those bikers who love to climb to the summit, pedalling or transported by convenient lifts and then dive into fantastic descents for every level of difficulty or aptitude. Steep and challenging descents, wide and easy trails, dirt roads to ride comfortably, even and especially with the family.

Walks with a hiking guide
At the Piana di Vigezzo, every occasion is good for an excursion with our hiking guides, and there are treks for every level!

From dawn to dusk, it is an incessant succession of colourful tones, ideal for enjoying the panorama immersed in the silence of the mountains, experiencing nature and why not, taking a few photographs.
Upon reservation, it is also possible to have an aperitif and dine at altitude; the sunset from up here is a unique experience, a pleasant gift that will add to the food and wine experience of the Ristoro La Tana, with its offer based on typical dishes and local products.
