On the right flank of the Centovalli, the Palagnedra natural forest reserve extends from the village to the watershed of Monte Gridone. The natural forest reserve consists mainly of beech groves. Their spectacular colours vary with the seasons – from the soft green of the sprouting leaves in spring to a reddish-brown of the foliage in autumn.
The forest is also a paradise for anyone interested in geology and mineralogy. The proven variety of minerals from the innermost layers of our planet make the Centovalli well-known beyond national borders. If you walk through the nature reserve on the forest trails you discover rock formations in the most incredible colours, ranging from yellow and red to blue and green.
Three rivers and one unique experience, set in a spectacular natural landscape.
