Camedo, at an altitude of 549 metres, is the last settlement in the Centovalli municipality and the final station on our railway line on Swiss soil.
The Italian and Swiss lines meet here, in the middle of the central arch of the bridge, at a height of 552 metres. 32 kilometres and 340 metres from Domodossola and 19 kilometres and 882 metres from Locarno.

NEW TRAIN DEPOT - A UNIQUE LOCATION
A charming space furnished in the spirit of sustainability and embellished with a mural of more than 30 square metres created by the Centovallina artist Tamara Giovannacci, the new train depot in Camedo is the ideal place for a gourmet break, on historic train journeys or for private events, in cooperation with the Osteria Grütli in Camedo
EVIDENCE OF THE PAST
The park, which can be reached by a twenty-minute walk from Camedo, was opened in 2002. It presents various testimonies of the rural world: the remains of a mallet, a washhouse once served by a spring of warm water, the ruins of several mills and a bread oven (1884).
PERFECT FOR FAMILIES
In Camedo, just beyond the cemetery, take a little path that leads to the "Campo mulino" playground (3-minute walk), suitable for families. For a fun break surrounded by nature.
