Also in 2023, between mid-October and mid-November, the Foliage Train returns!
In autumn, the route of our railway becomes a multicoloured picture, with the woods tinged with all shades of red, yellow and orange. A spectacle of nature, to be experienced while travelling on our trains, through forests and wild valleys.
Every day the trains connecting the two terminuses, Domodossola and Locarno, cross a breathtaking landscape along a 52 km route, with spectacular views and panoramic views inflamed by autumn colours.

Tickets for the cable cars can be purchased directly at the departure station or at the ticket office in Locarno. Combined tickets on sale online are available only for departures from Locarno and cannot be combined with the Foliage Train.
