Zornasco

Zornasco and its mill

The Zornasco mill is the largest of the 54 existing in the Vigezzo Valley.

Built in the seventeenth century, it consists of four millstones: three for processing cereals and one used to defibrate hemp. It is located a few meters from the Zornasco stop of our railway.

In Zornasco you can also admire an old lavatoio (1895) with eight large granite basins. The washhouse was completely restored in 2002.
